COCHI by Marvin Agustin is a Filipino restaurant nestled within the modern confines of Verve Residences in Taguig City, offering a contemporary take on classic Filipino flavors. The spot suits diners looking to explore familiar dishes elevated through thoughtful preparation and presentation—ideal for gatherings that range from family celebrations to solo indulgences.

The atmosphere leans toward relaxed yet polished, fitting for both casual meals and special occasions. With its location inside a residential tower neighborhood, it draws a mix of local residents and food enthusiasts who appreciate a dining experience attentive to detail, from automatic refills of water glasses to servers who keep a close eye on guests’ satisfaction.

The menu highlights reveal a willingness to showcase variety—fresh oysters start the meal on a fresh note, while hearty choices like chicken BBQ, kare kare, and beef salpicao anchor the table with traditional flavors. For larger groups or special moments, their Celebration Feast offers generous portions with standout items like cochinillo, which invites comparisons to versions found elsewhere—delivering crispy skin and juicy meat that impresses even seasoned diners.

Service here adds a distinct layer to the experience, with staff frequently noted for being accommodating and attentive, helping guide newcomers and repeat visitors alike through the menu. Even solo diners can find comfort in the space, though options tailored to one might feel limited given the generous portion sizes designed for sharing.

COCHI fits best as a place to enjoy a meaningful Filipino meal with friends or family, where the value lies not just in the food but also in the ease of dining—smooth reservation processes, thoughtful service, and an environment comfortable enough for celebrations or quiet meals. The late afternoon to dinner hours seem especially popular, when the warm glow of the space complements rich, savory comfort food and classic desserts like halo-halo round out the meal.

Absolutely loved the food! The menu was well thought out and brought the best of Filipino food, elevating traditional flavors and enhancing the dining experience. Our server, Roz, was attentive and friendly. Water glasses were filled automatically, and food quality was checked every step of the way to ensure everything is to our liking. We can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu! Truly worth the $$$

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Great food and a lovely ambiance. Their Spanish Latte originally came with one shot, but they allowed to add a second one for us. We loved their dumplings so much that we ended up ordering a second round.

What a memorable experience at Cochi! Food was super good and service (from Roz) was excellent! We had Celebration Feast good for 2 people. Food was plenty and could have easily fed 4 people. Everything was so good ... chizmozas, balbacua ala Marvin, mushroom salad and nilatik na French toast! We've had cochinillo in Spain and the cochinillo here was just as good, if not better. Would highly recommend this place!

I went alone. I hope they have more options for solo diner. I paid around 4k but serving was enough for 4 persons even if I ordered the 1-2 person serving of Cochi. The lechon has the right amount of juiciness, not too dry not too oily. Skin is crispy. But I wish they explained the sauces more. What would be the recommended mix for those who like it spicy or those who like it sweet. I do not like the sauce mix I made, so I asked the staff and she made a delicious one.
